Up in Canada we ripped off Adweek/Adage’s annual Agency of the Year competitions. But like having socialized
healthcare, we do things a bit differently. Ours has an unofficial competition within a competition. All the shortlist
agencies have to make self-promotion videos for the awards ceremony. They typically play off cultural and
industry trends of the past year or two.

We noticed that among all the awful things that happened in 2020, ‘pivot’ was named the marketing word of the year
and used a lot. While saying the word made us gag, we still decided to pivot our agency’s model to pivoting.
